Who the controller is
This site and the data collected through it are managed by RedDigital. For anything about your data, write to hello@reddigital.me and we reply within one business day.
What you give us yourself
On the consultation form: name, email, store URL, platform, revenue band, biggest challenge, preferred start and your message. We use this to reply and to prepare for the call. Without it there is no way to answer the enquiry.
To receive a free guide: your email address only. We use it to send the access link and an occasional email about ecommerce. One click unsubscribes, from any of them.
What you type into the guides stays in your browser
Starta Plāns and Noplūdes Tests answers are stored only in your own browser (localStorage) on your device. We never see them and they are not sent anywhere.
The single exception is the moment you press “email me my brief” or “email me my result” yourself. Then they go to your inbox and we receive a copy — along with the figures the page computed from your answers and its readiness assessment. That is a deliberate click rather than something happening in the background, and it is stated next to the button.
If you clear your browser data the answers are gone for good, including for us. We hold no copy unless you asked us to send one.
What the site collects automatically
Advertising parameters from the link you arrived on (utm_source, utm_campaign and similar, plus the ad platform identifiers fbclid, gclid, ttclid, msclkid), the page you landed on, and the referring site. These sit in your browser's session storage and are sent along with an enquiry so we know which ad produced it. They disappear when the session ends.
Server logs record your IP address and browser information. That is technically necessary for the site to work and to spot abusive requests.
Analytics and advertising cookies: Google Analytics 4 measures how the site is used, and the Meta Pixel measures ad results. The Pixel sets the _fbp and _fbc cookies, which we also use when reporting an enquiry to Meta from our server. In that report your email address is sent only in irreversibly hashed form, never as plain text.
Honestly, about cookie consent
There is currently no cookie consent banner on this site, and the analytics and advertising cookies load immediately. We know, and we intend to change it. Until then you can block them in your browser settings, with an ad blocker, or by turning off personalised ads in your Meta and Google accounts.
If you want the analytics data collected about you deleted, write to us and we will do it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept as long as needed for the conversation and any work that follows, and after that only what accounting rules genuinely require. If no work follows, we delete the enquiry on request or once it is no longer live.
The email address you gave to receive a guide is kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to receive a copy, to correct inaccuracies, to ask us to delete it, to restrict processing and to object to it. Write to hello@reddigital.me and we will act free of charge within one month.
If you believe we are handling your data wrongly, you have the right to complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate.
